Existential Therapy

I am trained in the major schools of psychotherapy and draw on a variety of perspectives. However, my primary approach is rooted in Existential Therapy.

Existential therapy is an inquiry into what it means to live a meaningful life. Sessions last 50 minutes and involve a sensitive, exploratory dialogue about your current experience. Having the undivided attention of a trained professional provides the space to articulate and clarify your feelings without fear of judgment.

This process of clarification helps reveal where tensions arise between who you are, who you want to be — what you truly value — and how you are living in the world. By tuning into your emotional responses, listening to the wisdom of your body, and exploring your experience, we work towards living in greater harmony with your whole self.

Existential therapy is not a quick fix, though many find significant relief from distress in early sessions. I aim to cultivate a trusting therapeutic relationship that lasts as long as you need. Some people engage in short-term therapy (6–20 sessions), while others choose to continue long-term as it becomes a valuable part of their lives — it all depends on your individual needs.
